Default Vizunah Square needs some improvements

Many people have had trouble here, nowdays however, its usualy a easy or simple matter to do the mission, even with henchies, although there are moments that henchies fail., but heros ought to help with that.

There is a problem of a different sort in vizunah that is not usualy recognzied, and its one of sabatoge.

There are indivudals that deliberatly enter the mission alone on one side or the other to trigger togo/mhenlo deaths and stall the other teams, or they drag henchies away from togo/mhenlo so they die that way aswell, wasting the other teams time and making it harder to gest past.

Today on me ele, i had TEN failures in a row due to this, its getting absurd now, and it seems to be common at some hours compared to others.

I would like some form of something to counter these kinds of sabatoge that cannot be controled, my teams were doing just fine until the npcs died, and its aggrivating me to no end...

*note: I aplogize for the earlier topic that was in the wrong forum and inflmmatory, as i was quite angry at the time, I just want to see if a possible souliton can be found, as currently its beyond my control to aviod sabatoge from the other teams*

I wish you could just select Human only / Hench only / or whatever is available when entering these missions.

I do, to some extend, understand your problem.
The last week I have been helping people getting Viz Square (foreign) with my ranger (and sometimes monk, but only when I already joined a team as ranger and there was no monk around).

Very often, we had leavers in local or they let Togo die (I will get to that).
Even a whole human team that bailed because they were waiting for an alliance group.

But the main problem is the hench AI in this mission.
I can control the hench in foreign, but those in local just tend to run to the foreign team as soon as foreign team appears on the radar.
The local hench team just rushes to the moster spawning point nearest the location where foreign enters.
I even had them running up to Mhenlo who was lagging behind.

And they leave Togo unproteced.

I have seen similar behaviour once with Jamei (foreign quarter), who got stuck in a corner just before the second group of enemies the foreign party encounters.
Seems he was heading to the local team and AI did not notice the wall.

The only way to prevent the local hench team from rushing to the foreign team is staying behind Togo when you are playing on local side with 7 hench.
Also, target calling could work, not sure on that one.

The strange thing is, when we encounter a full hench team on local, we know Togo (and later on Mhenlo) will be safe.
A full hench team just stays near Togo and protects. Even masters is possible with full hench team on local.
So it's the human/hench combination that does not work well.

Furtermore, we have also seen low level players on both sides of the mission with hench team.
That's not strange, with lvl 14 most teams will not accept them.
Even on lvl 19 it's hard to join a team.
That means, the player is often not experienced with the character and has not all attibute points.
On foreign side, they don't even have the 15 + 15 attibute quests (which are in the Desert and in Southern Shiverpeaks, the latter only available after ascention.
So that's a lot off attributepoints they don't have.

I have henched foreign with my Mesmer (to see if it was possible) and had to convince the other team (that was not shooting for masters) to stay and not bail.
Henching is very much possible, but requires knowledge on how hench react on attacks and target calling.
That's knowledge new players don't have and even experienced players don't always manage to controll them right.
When the groups are joined, problems are over and hench are ok.
I even got BR from a local hench once (so the AI deals with both teams, where most human teams only look after their own team).

I noticed there are people that leave when they see other people talk.
I think they don't intentionally sabotage the mission, but they want to play with a full hench team on the other side to maximize their chances.
Because hench are lvl 20 and do their job and when you have a bad other party it could well be one with lvl 14-16's (8 of them).
I have seen that a couple of times.

There is no real way to solve this problem.
There could be a restriction on both places, so that only players with lvl20 and full attribute points are able to enter the mission.

Also, more experienced people could help out.
I still offer help on the mission with my trapper (and sometimes monk) to help people getting at least one 8/8 human team.
That's because I know how hard this mission can be when the other side has no experience.

We had a W on local a couple of days ago that ran to us and died there.
And the hench wanted to stay near Togo and continue mission.
The poor W was dead the entire mission (lucky us he did not quit and take the whole local team with him).

I do understand you get upset when you have to restart over and over again.
With the various teams I have helped the last week, I think we had to restart about one third of the missions because the other team failed or left. Sometimes had this a couple of times in a row.
I guess you just have to learn to live with that if you want this mission (with masters being even harder). Or, as surgested somewhere else as I remember:
Start the mission in International District very early or late when you have the chance.
You most probably end up with a full hench team on the other side within a few attempts.

that probably could be the case.

to the OP, if you are having trouble getting past this mission, once you get your team assembled (either humans or npcs) move to the international districts, you will have a better chance of getting paired with a henchie team, and they do it quite nicely.
